Heritage Award
The Civil War Round Table of Fredericksburg Heritage Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations for their work in the preservation of local Civil War era buildings, objects, battlefields and history.
Categories:
-
Teacher - To an outstanding teacher of middle or high school history in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area.

Organization - To a local historical organization that has made an outstanding contribution to the preservation and interpretation of the area’s Civil War history.

Individual - To an individual in recognition of outstanding verbal, archival, or media interpretation work, for an outstanding paper, publication, or research project contributing to the knowledge of Virginia in the Civil War era.

Albert Z Conner National Military Park Service Intern Awards
The Albert Z. Conner National Military Park Service Intern Award is a scholarship/internship-support award given by the Civil War Round Table of Fredericksburg to students interning with the National Park Service, particularly in Civil War and public history programs. The award was established in memory or honor of Albert “Al” Z. Conner Jr., a Civil War historian, preservation advocate, and supporter of the Fredericksburg/Stafford Civil War parks. The Round Table uses the fund to help students pursuing careers in history, interpretation, museum work, and park service education.
