Albert Z Conner National Military Park Service Intern Awards

The Albert Z. Conner National Military Park Service Intern Award is a scholarship/internship-support award given by the Civil War Round Table of Fredericksburg to students interning with the National Park Service, particularly in Civil War and public history programs. The award was established in memory or honor of Albert “Al” Z. Conner Jr., a Civil War historian, preservation advocate, and supporter of the Fredericksburg/Stafford Civil War parks. The Round Table uses the fund to help students pursuing careers in history, interpretation, museum work, and park service education.
