2021 Recipient Danny Brennan

March 17, 2021 - Lead Historian, Frank O’Reilly, announced this year’s selection for the Civil War Round Table of Fredericksburg's Albert Z. Conner internship.  He found a perfect fit in the person of Daniel Brennan. 


Danny lives in Strongville, Ohio.  He finished his sophomore year at the University of Notre Dame, where he is majoring in History and Theology.  Danny is active in university government and is the president of his residence hall.  He has been a student teacher and a participant in the Civil War Institute.  Danny has worked with the Irish American Archive Society at the Western Reserve.  He wants to engage people of all ages and backgrounds and serve the people of the United States.  He intends to go into academia.  Danny is very enthusiastic and is a forward thinker who will thrive in the National Park Service environment.  In July, Danny will co-present with guest speaker Ryan Quint.
